KONE Content Manager

KONE Content Manager consists on the following components:
  • Displays
    Displays are content streaming devices plugged into different screens in the lobby (KONE MediaPlayer) or in the elevator car (KONE MediaScreen).
  • Display groups
    Each display group is programmed to play content on the display(s) connected to it. All displays in a display group play the same content.
  • Apps
    Your content is organized into apps that play different types of content. Choose a display group to activate an app on that group of displays.

Select and manage display groups

  • 1
    Select a group by clicking Display Groups -> <name of a display group>.
    The settings page with currently enabled apps of the selected display group displays.

    View and add content to the display group.

Select and manage apps

Before this procedure, select a display group.

    Click to select a currently enabled app.
    The settings and content library page of the selected app displays.

    Click Apps -> More Apps to view other available apps.
    Click on any app to manage its settings and content.

      Note: You only see apps that are enabled with your current license level. Contact KONE for a license upgrade.

Manage app content

Before this procedure, select a display group and an app.
  • 1
    Set up content for the app by using the settings and content library page of the selected app.
    • a)
      Deploy the app to the display group(s) of your choice.
    • b)
      Click Display Groups.
    • c)
      Use the plus icons to deploy the app to a display group.

Manage my account

The my account page lists all Dashboard admin users, and enables changing your password and other settings.

    Click your avatar -> My account.
  • 2
    Change your password or other settings as necessary.
