Activate and delete smartphone keys and key tags
Typically users manage their access by themselves. For more information, refer to Users.
The administrator needs to manage the users' access when, for example:
- A user does not have a smartphone or KONE Flow application.
- Site service providers, for example, maintenance technicians or cleaning services, need access.
Site service providers are considered as managed users. - A user cannot use KONE Flow, for example, because of a lost smartphone.

iNote: Users must always keep their mechanical keys with them as a backup. KONE Flow does not replace the mechanical keys.

1.Log in to KONE Flow Manager.

2.Locate where to manage the access services by user type:
Main users - Click FACILITIES -> Facility of the main user and locate the ACTIVATED KEYS AND SERVICES section.
Sub-users - Click FACILITIES -> Facility of the sub-user -> VIEW after the name of the user.
Managed users - Click MANAGED USERS -> name of the user. -
3.To activate a new key tag for a user:

A.Click ACTIVATE NEW KEY TAG in the ACTIVATED KEYS AND SERVICES section.

B.Fill in the serial number of the key tag.
The serial number is printed on the key tag. -
C.Click ACTIVATE.

4.To deactivate and delete an existing key tag:

A.Locate the key that you want to deactivate and delete in the ACTIVATED KEYS AND SERVICES section.

B.Click DEACTIVATE AND DELETE.
A confirmation dialogue displays. -
C.Click YES.

5.To deactivate a smartphone key:

A.Locate the key that you want to deactivate and delete in the ACTIVATED KEYS AND SERVICES section.

B.Click DEACTIVATE AND DELETE.
A confirmation dialogue displays. -
C.Click YES.
