Activate and manage intercom calls and nameplates

During the onboarding, you were automatically added as a nameplate to the intercom (if allowed by your builging administrator). You can manage your intercom nameplate, and the related phone numbers behind the contact name for video and audio calls from the intercom.

      Open KONE Flow.
    • 2.
      Tap Intercom.

Note: The access code for opening the door during an audio call is 00* by default. If your building administrator has changed it, you can find the currently valid code from the nameplate audio call settings of the KONE Flow mobile application. If you do not use KONE Flow, contact your main user or building administrator.

Note: Do not set the phone call to be made Always on the same phone that you receive video calls. Receiving video and audio call on the same device at the same time might cause issues.
    • 7.
If you set both video call and audio call on, you can tick Only when video call is not available.
If a video call cannot be established within 10 seconds, for example, due to internet connectivity problems, the system makes an audio call to your phone instead.
      • i
Note: If there is an accessibility kit installed with the intercom, the system automatically creates a personal shortcut number for each nameplate. The number is visible in KONE Flow by tapping Intercom and a nameplate. This shortcut number can be shared with e.g. visually impaired visitors. To use the shortcut number for making an intercom call, tap Call on the intercom screen or physical keypad (if available) and enter the shortcut number.
