Call elevator with Amazon Alexa
You can call the elevator with your Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. You can link multiple Alexa devices with your KONE Flow account.
Before this procedure: Make sure that you have:
- Amazon Alexa powered device
- Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone
- KONE Flow app on your smartphone with onboarding completed

Set up Alexa

1.Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone.

iNote: Your account credentials must use the same email address both in Amazon Alexa and KONE Flow app.

2.Search for KONE Elevator Call Skill.

3.Install the Skill.

4.Activate the Skill with your KONE Flow credentials.

5.Say the setup phrase to your Alexa device.
For example, Alexa, call me an elevator.
The setup phrase displays in the Skill.
Alexa provides you with an activation code. -
6.Open KONE Flow.

7.Tap the Account icon in KONE Flow.

8.Under LOCATIONS, select the site you want to modify.

9.Under ELEVATOR SETTINGS, tap Alexa settings.

10.Enter the activation code that you received from Alexa and tap Add device.

11.Enter a name for the Alexa device, select the elevator to call and the source floor from where you typically travel.

12.Tap the check mark icon to save.
Call elevator using Alexa

iNote: To prevent misuse, the number of repeated elevator calls is limited. If you exceed the limit, your elevator call will not be served and Alexa will not confirm the call.

1.Say the setup phrase, for example, Alexa, call me an elevator.
This is the KONE Elevator Call Skill phrase. It is visible in the Amazon Alexa app.
Alexa confirms the call.
Modify Alexa settings
You can modify the following settings:
- Device name
This is the name by which the Alexa device is shown in KONE Flow. - Elevator
If your building has multiple elevators, this setting defines which elevator Alexa calls. - Floor
- This is the target floor where the elevator comes to pick you up.

1.Open KONE Flow.

2.Tap the Account icon on the top left corner in KONE Flow.

3.Under LOCATIONS, select the site you want to modify.

4.Under ELEVATOR SETTINGS, tap Alexa settings.

5.Tap name of the Alexa that you want to modify.
Unlink Alexa

1.Open KONE Flow.

2.Tap the Account icon on the top left corner in KONE Flow.

3.Under LOCATIONS, select the site you want to modify.

4.Under ELEVATOR SETTINGS, tap Alexa settings.

5.Tap name of the Alexa that you want to unlink.

6.Tap Remove device.
