Open doors with keypad
Any access reader can have a keypad. You can open the respective door by entering a PIN code with the keypad.
-
1.Ask for the key code from your administrator or create a new temporary code using KONE Flow.
For more information, refer to Manage smartphone keys, key tags and key codes.
The administrator can see the key code in the KONE Flow Manager application. -
2.Enter the key code with the keypad and press the Key button.
The door opens.
If the door does not open, make sure that the key code is correct. -
iNote: By default, the system makes an automatic elevator call to your home floor when you open the door with a temporary key code created using KONE Flow app.
For more information on how to change your home floor for automatic elevator calls, refer to Change your home floor for automatic elevator calls.
For more information on how to enable or disable automatic elevator calls, refer to Enable automatic elevator calls for yourself or visitors. If you are not using KONE Flow, contact your main user to enable or disable automatic elevator calls for the key code.
